Is Colorado Cannabis School accredited?
Our courses are not currently worth credits towards any nationally recognized programs.
In the United States, there are no accredited cannabis focused educational entities.
The U.S. Department of Education retains authority over post-secondary education accreditation. While cannabis remains illegal federally, it is unlikely any cannabis educational institutions will gain accreditation. However, with the domino-like state legalization and a multi-billion dollar industry fueling it, the future of cannabis education has never been brighter.
That being said, our courses offer a world class education with hands on experience. Our curriculum is built on a foundation of recognized botany and plant biology publications (ASPB) and front-line cannabinoid research (ICRS and Pubmed).
The courses we teach simply aren’t offered anywhere else to the general public.
Students leave with a robust knowledge of medicinal cannabis and cannabis horticulture, both applicable to a wide variety of careers and at-home needs.
Will this training help me get a job?
Our science-based courses provide attendees with a world class education and hands-on training with live cannabis specimens.
The training and experience students receive here is a strong foundation for a rewarding career in the cannabis industry.
If you are applying for a job at a cannabis medicinal dispensary, breeder, or grow facility, our educational program may give you an advantage in the selection process.
We encourage you to list your CCS certification under “special training” on your resume.
Potential employers are free to call and verify your program completion.
Colorado Cannabis School is growing very quickly, and as we do, our authority and respect in the industry grows as well.
